The DSI team advanced engineering services include: development and tracking of the project assumptions, development of the process flow diagrams, development of the overall Auto CAD layout, identification of the equipment requirements, creation of a controls architecture, concept rack designs / part buck designs, and overall cost estimates for our customer.It is anticipated that DSI will continue to support this customer and will provide overall Program Management services throughout the fabrication, installation and commissioning phases on behalf of our customer.

Design Systems, Inc.’s manufacturing engineering team will look at all aspects of this greenfield plant’s material flow practices to design a lean and optimized process for this customer.

Areas of support for this greenfield plant include: yard and dock analysis, storage analysis, warehouse capacity analysis, warehouse equipment and process definition, in-plant material flow routes, material flow equipment, manpower requirements, material handling operator work instructions, racking requirements, design of kit carts and more. is very proud of our recently awarded project from a major Tier 1 brake and component supplier to assist this team with the design of the plant’s new state of the art E-Coat system.

Design Systems Paint Finishing Engineering group has been contracted to provide the initial advanced planning engineering services for this this global supplier, acting as an owner’s representative.
